Untitled

hmm..it seems nowadays it's just getting harder and harder for me to say the right thing....and it seems that i'm better off just shutting off my mouth probably. It feels as if the more i say, the worse it becomes

on a lighter note, the paeds rotation is going well so far, although next week the hard work will start..huhu...and so far the paeds lectures has it fair shares of joke:

1.According to our lecturer, usually in the labour room, the nurse will carry the newborn child and ask the mother to verify her child, and the scenario wil go something like

Nurse: Congratulation Ms A, you have a healthy child. Is it a boy or a girl?
Ms A : *smiling it's a boy!!, *tears, etc

...but in our lecturer own experience after delivering her first child...

Nurse: Congratulation Ms B, you have a healthy child. Is it a boy or a girl?
MS B : * smiling and pause*... It's a boy, but my child seems to be cyanosed, quickly put him on an oxygen mask stat!!

...i suppose when you're a doctor and a paeds specialist, your role as a doctor knows no boundaries :P

2. Ever wonder why China has such large population? Our lecturer showed us a picture that may give us the answer. The picture showed babies, lined up side by side on a long rectangular container, as if they are in a factory, ready to be transported to the respected mother. HEHEHE, It is actually a picture inside the post natal ward.

Haih..sound so lame...i'm definitely more of a listener than a story teller...lalala
